SGL Diagnostic Sensitivity Test (DST) Agar is a ready-to-use culture medium developed for antimicrobial susceptibility testing. Commonly used in clinical, veterinary and microbiology laboratories, the medium supports the growth of a wide range of bacteria whilst allowing the assessment of their response to antibiotics and other antimicrobial agents.
DST Agar is frequently used during antibiotic sensitivity testing procedures to determine whether bacterial isolates are susceptible, intermediate or resistant to specific antimicrobial treatments. The formulation promotes reliable antimicrobial diffusion through the agar, helping laboratories produce clear and reproducible susceptibility test results. Supplied in convenient 90mm pre-poured plates, the medium is suitable for routine testing, research and microbiological investigations.
